Lift us Up where we Belong!!!

Vision board“We rise by lifting others.” ~Robert Ingersoll

As I grow as a broker, leader  and a business owner I have to know and believe that people will come and go. I believe that my job is to bless them as they come and bless them as they go. It is my job to love them as they come and love them as they go. It is my heart to celebrate their success because when one can be successful, so can we all.

I never grew up thinking, I would be a broker one day and would own a Real Estate company that was one of the top  in the county!!!! News flash, we are in the top because I have some of the most amazingly dedicated, kind, motivated, loving and honorable people. I alone can do NOTHING nor would I attempt this feat alone. It is so much bigger than me!!!

As you grow as a business and that is thankfully inevitable if you are fortunate to be successful , things change whether that is your desire or not. Just as there was a time in my life that I had to leave where I was to go where God wanted me to be…. so it is with my precious people.  The people that I wished to grow old in rocking chairs on my Real Estate porch are called to a different place.

For a moment, it is our human heart to hurt and to be sad and to wish it different. But as soon as I lament I remember EXACTLY why God put me here. He put me here to be of service, to love others, to encourage others and to lift them….. lift them to the place that they aspire to be. That lifting may mean a different profession, a different company or any number of things.  What it doesn’t mean is a change in my direction, or a change in my mission.

I am so thankful that there is enough success, enough wonder, enough love and enough abundance for all of us. I am so thankful that each and every person that has come to my company has taught me wonderful life lessons. It is my prayer that they come in love and they leave in love and that we both are better for knowing and working with each other.

I am thankful for the tide that binds us and lifts us and takes us exactly where God desires us to be so we can continue to be blessings to all we meet. And so it is.

  1. I so love how you allow your humanity for a moment and then push yourself to be Gods servant. I’m sure, though it’s difficult, it leads to overall contentment. Thanks for sharing your journey.
